Cavendish Penthouse Suite

Location was great. Shame on room but has potential. Positive: N/A Negative: Decor tired and dated. Soft furnishings/carpet need a deep clean. Scatter cushions on bed were dirty/stained. Washer not working. Shower head held up by plastic bag. Outside balcony very dirty..needs attention plastic chairs very cheap.

Enjoyable. Friendly and helpful staff. Positive: Breakfast prompt and tasty. Negative: No thoughts on improvements.

Bakewell - Bagshaw Hall stay Positive: Good location and near centre of Bakewell and ideally located for the rest of the Peak District and its wonderful scenery. We were located at the top of Bagshaw Hall so views were very good.withbour own balcony. Good sized apartment/suite so adequate space and lots facilities. We stayed in room 2. Photos from the balcony area over Bakewell. Negative: The bathroom shower/bath taps needed maintenance and were not working properly. Being an old property lots of creaking floorboards, which must have echoed through to the other residents particulary at night. Beware of trip hazard on way to the bathroom particularly at night, namely a large oak beam set in the floor! N.B: If you have difficulty walking it is quite steep in the surrounding areas.
