Positive: Very pretty and good public spaces (outdoor area and lounge rooms). Nice friendly staff. Negative: Car parking was difficult; did not know we had to order room tidy up or breakfast (before it was too late); reception on a ‘call us’ basis when we arrived (a little after after 6pm)…

Great place to stay in the centre of Bakewell with very good rooms and relaxing environment Positive: Had a lovely welcome and the room was excellent with a huge bed, all of which made this a fantastic place to stay right in the middle of Bakewell. Just a short (hill) walk down into the town to access shops, bars, restuarants and the river. And the property itself has a lovely veranda part to relax in - where we had an evening drink and a morning tea. Negative: Just wished it had a standard 11am checkout instead of the earlier 10am leaving time. Would have loved to have had some more time there in the morning.
