Lovely 2 night stay and very close to the town and bus services. Highly recommend. Positive: Breakfast can be ordered to the room. Costings are £12 for a full English and £9 for a Continental one. Had a problem with the heated towel rail not working, but it was soon sorted.

Amazing building, amazing big bed Positive: Bagshaw Hall is a stunning historical building - a treat to stay in. Short walk (up/down a steep hill) into the village centre. Georgina met us on arrival and showed us into the room, which was spacious with beautiful windows and an enormous bed with lovely linen. The bath in the room was a luxurious treat. Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like about the property but do have a couple of suggestions that would have added to the experience: - Since there is a bath in the bedroom which is a novelty, bathrobes and slippers would have been great. - There is a huge TV in the suite but it is not a smart TV so you are restricted to terrestrial TV which is a bit old school in this day and age. It’s the kind of property that you want to stay in and enjoy rather than somewhere just to rest your head, so an upgrade to a smart TV or at least a fire stick would make a big difference.

Positive: A beautiful boutique room with all the amenities we could wish for. Lovely helpful staff and a most relaxing and pleasant stay. Couldn't fault it. Thank you to the staff for their hard work and dedication. Negative: It was all great.

An idyllic birthday weekend away in Bakewell Positive: Friendly welcome on arrival, the room was exceptional, vast and felt special for a romantic break with my partner, and my birthday. Location is spot on albeit up a steep hill. Negative: I didn’t quiz the breakfast options, my fault, I possibly over ordered. But it being brought to your room by Georgina is an exceptional treat. If checkout was 11 that would have been great. But all in all a wonderful break.
