Lovely stay in beautiful Bakewell Positive: It is a property built in 1680, therefore you are staying in history. The property has been developed but kept a lot of original features. Negative: No air con, however England or the UK as a whole has not predicted that this would be needed. Very warm upstairs. However a fan was provided

Positive: Very pretty and good public spaces (outdoor area and lounge rooms). Nice friendly staff. Negative: Car parking was difficult; did not know we had to order room tidy up or breakfast (before it was too late); reception on a ‘call us’ basis when we arrived (a little after after 6pm)…

Beautiful property, beautiful Bakewell! Positive: It’s a beautiful historic building about a five minute walk into Bakewell town Centre. It’s well positioned clean and very comfortable. Negative: Parking is tight, so just watch out if you have a big vehicle. It’s also at a top of a hill, so if you’re walking into town just bear that in mind for the return. But neither should prevent you from staying here.
