Lovely weekend in Bakewell. Positive: Great location, with parking. Short walk to pubs & shops. Clean bedroom & bathroom. Negative: WiFi wasn’t very strong. No hand soap in the bathroom. A bit pricey for one night stay with no breakfast.

Positive: The property was beautiful, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. It was located with an easy walk into town, where we were given some great recommendations for local restaurants and pubs Negative: N/A!

Weekend away Positive: Superb location, easy to walk into Bakewell. Room was very clean and neatly presented. On site parking. Lovely old building with lots of character. The staff were super helpful and kind. Negative: Thought the breakfast arrangements were a bit odd. You can either choose to have breakfast served to your room (continental or cooked) or eat off site (or bring own). Think the nature of how that worked could have been better explained. We took up the option on the first morning (the staff kindly fitted us in even though we were a late confirmation of the meal), the second morning we chose to eat in Bakewell. There is a reception room in the hotel and I wondered if it might have been an option to use that as a breakfast room. Also what would have made it perfect place would have been if there was a hotel bar as the building is perfect venue for that.

Fantastic Stay! Positive: Great location & fantastic room. Had the breakfast one day, great quality & value. Negative: Car park can be a bit tight at times.

Positive: Breakfast very good and staff helpful. Negative: Bedroom a bit cramped and floor beam to step over between bedroom and bathroom
