Attico Suite Bagshaw Hall

Enjoyable stay (2nd visit) - would stay at Bagshall Hall again but would request a different suite. Positive: Amazing building, location good, bed was comfortable. Negative: Getting the correct temperature in the shower was very difficult - either scorching hot or cold. Gave up on one occasion! Thought we would have the advertised TV streaming but our TV was too old to do this. Odd arrangement having the bathroom and toilet at the top of the stairs which meant privacy issues if partner wanted to be in the spartan kitchenette downstairs (Attico suite)

Good apartment but a touch expensive Positive: Good room with god facilities in a nice location Negative: Not sure it was worth the price charged

Positive: Very pretty and good public spaces (outdoor area and lounge rooms). Nice friendly staff. Negative: Car parking was difficult; did not know we had to order room tidy up or breakfast (before it was too late); reception on a ‘call us’ basis when we arrived (a little after after 6pm)…

An absolute gem in an exceedingly pretty Derbyshire town!

Lovely, cosy and charming historical building… well worth a visit. Positive: Location was excellent… building and room was charming… very quiet and staff helpful and friendly. Good recommendations on where to eat out which were excellent. Negative: Nothing to dislike about the property… TV wasn’t working in the room but that was a tiny thing compared to the overall standard.
