Comfortable but tired. Positive: Comfortable bed and welcoming staff. Negative: No plug in the sink to have a shave without wasting water. No toilet roll holder so not very hygienic. The furnishing and carpets are showing their age. I appreciate it is very costly but some TLC would not go amiss.

Nice little break with some spectacular views Positive: Nice size room with a great view. Great location to explore the Peak District Negative: Was up quite a steep hill so gave you a bit of a workout but was close to the centre of Bakewell

Wonderful spot in lovely Town Positive: A large, cool, airy room with a huge and comfortable bed, great shower, microwave, fridge and car park. The lady was most welcoming. Handy for walking into Town. What's not to like!!! Negative: Nothing at all although perhaps the plughole in the shower of room 5 might need a clean out before you have a flood!

Very comfortable and quiet stay. Positive: Very big comfy bed. The shower was big, clean and powerful. Kitchenette to make tea/coffee. Fantastic views across Bakewell. Close to the the town centre (see note below), and free parking (see note below). Negative: Car parking difficult at busy times. Needs other guests to park efficiently and an order for smaller and bigger cars. Beware of the hill into town. A bit steep, but ok if you are able to walk easily.
