Ben Saunders Suite Bagshaw Lodge

Great location and a very nice property in Bakewell town. Positive: Very clean and tidy room, with a great view of the town (room 10) The bed was very large and comfortable too. We met Georgina who checked us in and out and she was lovely and friendly. Both Bagshaw Hall and Lodge are in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the amenities. You do have to walk up a slope though which was fine for us but not necessarily easy for people with mobility issues. Negative: Nothing

Very Good Positive: Loved the peaceful location and view from the room window. The room was clean and there was a great shower. Enjoyed stay at Bagshaw Negative: Nothing

Comfortable but tired. Positive: Comfortable bed and welcoming staff. Negative: No plug in the sink to have a shave without wasting water. No toilet roll holder so not very hygienic. The furnishing and carpets are showing their age. I appreciate it is very costly but some TLC would not go amiss.

Nice little break with some spectacular views Positive: Nice size room with a great view. Great location to explore the Peak District Negative: Was up quite a steep hill so gave you a bit of a workout but was close to the centre of Bakewell
