Lovely apartment in a great location but request an upstairs room. Positive: Brilliant location close to the centre of Bakewell but up a hill so to be mindful of that if you don’t have great mobility but that wasn’t a problem for us. Nice facilities, the quadruple #6 had a separate lounge / diner / kitchenette and then double bedroom and bathroom. Well equipped and clean inside. Nice view of the valley and garden area outside… Very nice breakfast delivered to your apartment too! Negative: We were in a downstairs room and you could hear the people upstairs moving about, closing doors and mumbled voices as well as noisy taps when they ran the water. Such a shame as otherwise we did like everything else about the place. If we were in an upstairs apartment I’m guessing that wouldn’t have been an issue. We were only there two nights so it was a frustration but one we could put up with but if staying for the week I think we would’ve said something or asked to move. It was very expensive for a two night stay so I don’t feel like it was good value for money. £400+ for a two night stay including paying for breakfast and our dog on arrival. Guessing that’s more to do with the location than the place itself.
