Disappointing- wont be going back. Positive: Heating was good. Great location. Huge bed. Good views. Parking (though worryingly tight). Negative: Kitchenette was pitiful - just a kettle, toaster, microwave - no hob as shown the pictures. Bare minimum crockery and utensils. Passable as a place to sleep, but far from suitable as a self catering facility. Dining table was so wobbly that drinks and cereals spilled. Rug was frayed and curled up causing a real trip hazard - we took it up and stowed it in the wardrobe. WiFi was useless- far better to switch off and use phone signal. Paths and steps were treacherous on cold mornings. Arrived at 1400 as arranged and was shown to the room and introduced to the site, then got a call at 2200 asking if we were still planning on coming that day - left hand right hand? Expensive for what it was.

Amazing views and great value for money Positive: We visited last year and came back this year! Amazing value for money, everything clean, warm and comfortable. The view was lovely and the location very good also. Negative: Nothing!

Great stay just a short walk down to lots of lovely shops, cafes and pubs, we really enjoyed our stay. Positive: Great location and well equipped room, with a wonderful view.

Great location, standard experience Positive: Lovely views, fairly spacious room, parking close to town, easy to find, kitchenette in room, friendly welcome and local information. Great shower and toiletries. Negative: Despite booking twin beds and receiving confirmation this hadn't been received. Fortunately there was a twin room available. Selection of teas, coffees and biscuits was poor given the location, and only uht milk cartons even though there is a fridge. Pillows and bedding didn't feel up to standard of accommodation. Also all the rooms named after male explorers - would be nice to see some female representation!
