Lovely room and facilities with hot shower and central location made it a comfortable stay. Positive: Excellent location near to the main streets of the small town. lots of lovely walks and other country pursuits, national trust properties and further hill walks. Negative: nothing

Beautiful view and peaceful. Positive: We booked last minute and being a holiday weekend, everywhere was booked up. We stayed in the Ben Fogle room with a small kitchenette and bathroom. The view from the large picture window was amazing as we were high up and over looking Bakewell. The bed was large and very comfortable. The shower was hot and powerful. It was lovely and quiet and the parking was free. The accommodation was up a steep hill so ok if you are fit and able. It was a short walk down into the town. Breakfast was brought to the room by Carol and served with a smile. I would definitely stay again. Negative: Something minor, but the cutlery tray could do with freshening up.

Georgina was a fabulous host and the accommodation is pretty much everything one needs for a wonderful weekend in Bakewe Positive: Lovely location, and views. Spacious room. Negative: Could invest in some new pillows! Walls are also a bit thin between rooms.
