Positive: Exceptional staff, especially being a solo traveller, felt so safe Views incredible

Bakewell Base Positive: Amazing view from the window. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and helpful. Showed us all the room facilities and recommendations of places to visit and eat. Breakfast was lovely delivered to our room, good value for the price. Room was a perfect size for 2 and had little kitchen area to make coffee toast and a microwave. Enough crockery for us. Washing liquid and cloth. Bed was large and comfy. Very clean. Parking was available and again staff very helpful in helping us find the car park and space. We walked into the town it is a steep hill to walk down but not far at all into the lovely town. Definitely exceeded our expectations after reading some of the reviews. Didn’t use the Wi-Fi. Would definitely recommend. Negative: Tight getting into the shower over the bath but all worked well once in there. Little tired in places but was clean and comfortable.

great location and view but felt room colour was too oppresive to stay in it again Positive: the view from the room was amazing. nice touch with the toiletries and the use of a bath. kitchenette area was good with fridge and all utensils Negative: the room did not reflect the photo on the site which looked bright and cheeful. our room was very dull and quite oppresive with the colour. the cups still had stains in the bottom and the toaster still had crumbs over the top.
