Beautiful place, but the staff and maids were nowhere to be seen Positive: Location Negative: The staff locked the guests out of the public spaces from evening until morning. They also locked up the beverage refrigerator in the guest lounge, even though the guests were supposed to be able to enjoy beverages there. Maid service was entirely absent unless we hunted the staff down and requested it. Staff were rarely to be seen

Very enjoyable as a base for exploring Bakewell. Positive: Very nice place to stay including apartment-style room. Beautiful location for anyone mobile enough for a steepish hill. Negative: Would have been nice to have an easy chair in the room. There were however two dining chairs and a small dining table.

Positive: Lovely stay in beautiful Bakewell. Great location for pubs etc in centre of town for dinner. Lovely clean room.

Great place to stay if happy to eat out. Positive: Lovely place to stay. Convenient for town. Lots of food & drink options in town. Would stay again. Negative: Parking slightly awkward, but we were able to park fine.
